1. About this policy
Izma helps teachers prepare practice materials, print assessments, read completed paper submissions, and review learning results. This policy covers personal information handled through the Izma website and teacher and student services, including information you provide directly and classroom information supplied by a teacher or school.
If your school uses Izma, read this policy alongside the privacy information your school provides. Your school can explain why it uses particular classroom records and how it uses assessment results.
2. Account and sign-in information
We use tekID, which runs on Logto, for sign-in. When you connect an account, Izma receives your account identifier, email address and verification status, and available profile information such as your name and profile image. Izma stores an account record, your onboarding status, and the times your account was created or updated.
You can enter or correct your first and last name in Izma. If you have an older Izma account, we also use its existing sign-in record when connecting it to tekID. Signing out ends your session; it does not delete your account or classroom records.
3. School and class information
When a teacher sets up a school or class, we store its name, the teacher's membership or role, and class identifiers and join codes. When a student requests to join, we store the student's account link, the class, the request date, and whether the teacher approved or rejected the request.
